The Atelier Collective is an organization creating beautiful experiences for ambitious women in business. Launched with their first signature event in Niagara in 2018, The Atelier Collective has grown into a nationwide network supporting women-identifying individuals in business through events, workshops, and resources.
As a player in the conference and events space, The Atelier Collective had to quickly pivot during the 2020 pandemic and adapt to a world where in-person events were no longer possible. What was born from that shift were two digital events: Digital 2020 and Beyond 2020. These events reached an even greater audience than their in-person events and broke attendance records for the collective. In a time when connection was rare, these events gave their audience a way to bond and share experiences with their peers.
Our visual identity for Digital 2020 and Beyond 2020 sought to visualize and reckon with The Atelier’s necessary pivot. We evolved the lighter, brighter visual style that we had established for their first two events into something warmer, and more stripped down — developing a custom typeface for the events with connectivity as a key motif.
The result is a visual identity that is more modern, direct, and ready to embrace larger conversations about the changing world around us.
